History

The NRCC was founded in 2005 by some Dutch businessmen, who wanted to increase the visibility of the Dutch business community in Romania and to better represent her towards the Romanian authorities. The Dutch Ambassador at that time was a staunch supporter of this idea and has facilitated the set-up of the Chamber. After months of discussion and talks with the local authorities, the chamber was finally officially launched on the 2nd of December 2005.
