World Vision
World Vision Romania is a Christian organization working through community development, advocacy, and relief to build a better future for the most vulnerable Romanian children. Our organization is working with over 16.000 children and their families, most of them living in rural communities, in Cluj, Constanta, Dolj, Ialomita, Iasi, Vaslui and Valcea, and with children in need and their parents in Sector 5 of Bucharest.
World Vision is a constant presence in Romania since 1990, and had a significant contribution to the child welfare and protection reform. Currently the organization is providing community development programs in over 200 rural communities, through a large range of activities including: economic development, formal and informal education programs, early intervention and rehabilitation for children with disabilities, health programs, citizen empowerment and disaster mitigation. World Vision Romania is a partner of World Vision International, active in over 100 countries throughout the world.
